Passionate road bike cyclist Marc qualifies as the typical incorrigible man-about-town: The womanizer takes each day as it comes and lives a casual and carefree life. He does not care about his responsibilities, much to the chagrin of his little daughter Luna. Even when Marc loses his left leg in an accident, he does not realize that he has to change his carefree life in the fast lane. Furthermore, he pushes his problems to the back of his mind. Nevertheless, he suffers from an excruciating phantom pain that again and again throws him back to reality. But his love to the beautiful and clever Nike, finally helps Marc to confront his life, his problems, and his past.
