Men Do What They Can

Adaptation of the eponymous novel by Hans Rath. The world of Paul, a suave womaniser and staunch single, is shaken when he eventually falls in love and has to realize that the newfound woman of his dreams is about to marry someone else. Determined to win the girl's love, his rather clumsy attempts to prevent the marriage cause a lot of trouble. At the same time, poor Paul also has to help his two best friends, who have to deal with their own relationship problems: Unfaithful Schamski, who is about to ruin his third marriage with an office affair, and computer nerd Günther, who is secretly in love with a waitress but can't seem to muster up the courage to actually talk to her.
