Götz Otto, was born in Offenbach October 15, 1967. He started his acting career with bit parts in films like "Kleine Haie", "Nur über meine Leiche" and "Nach fünf im Urwald". Given his imposing physique and striking features, Otto is often typecast a a villain or henchman. Early on, he also appeared in international productions, and since "Schindler"s List" (1993), Otto has become a regular face in US feature films like "Gridlock" (1996), the Bond adventure "Tomorrow Never Dies" (1997) or the fantasy spectacle "Beowulf" (1990). Meanwhile he continues to feature prominently in German Cinema, including prolific roles in "Marlene", "Der Untergang" and "Grenzverkehr", the latter showcasing his rarely used comic talents.
