Summary
Rudy, the Racing Pig
Father Egyptologist (unemployed), mother teacher, three delightful children - the Guetzkows could be a happy family. If a pig called Rudi hadn′t permanently mixed up their family peace and quiet. Rudi ingratiates himself, Rudi disturbs the domestic bliss, Rudi bites the football referee in his posterior, Rudi chases off a burglar and, not least of all, Rudi is a successful racing pig - in the end, Rudi gets into real danger, but he is, of course, saved.
Rudi Ruessel is a brilliantly cast and wildly entertaining comedy for the whole family - which, quite incidentally, also says something about the state of the nineties in Germany.
