Back On Track
Many years have passed since Paul Averhoff celebrated the biggest triumph of his life, winning the marathon gold medal at the 1956 Sidney Olympics. Now however, time has taken its toll and the former champion has to move to a retirement home with his wife. As soon as he gets there he just wants to leave again. Then, a thought is born. Every morning he puts on his sports shoes and heads for the park to run the laps. The other seniors in the residence think he is crazy but Paul is convinced that he is going to run the Berlin Marathon – and win.
