Summary
Bright Night
On the hottest day of the year, Anna and her boyfriend Stefan drive to her birthplace on a sad mission: Her aunt died recently and Anna has to clear out her parents' house where the deceased lady lived and which is scheduled for demolition. To that end they meet Bernd, Anna's former boyfriend, who has brought along his husband Marc, a respected psychoanalyst.
Here, in the countryside, Anna enjoys their company, goes for walks and joins in group cooking activities. If only the two men's open relationship, which she views skeptically, and Marc, who plays psychological games with her and shows mounting interest in Stefan, were not so irritating.
