Summary
Adaptation of the eponymous crime novel by Wolf Haas: Private detective Simon Brenner returns to his hometown Graz. There he not only meets old friends and a love from his youth, but also has to confront a forgotten sin from his past. Then a series of murders occurs and puzzles Brenner. Eventually, he becomes a victim himself: Being shot in the head, he falls into a coma. When he wakes again, he starts searching for the perpetrator. Although people around him insist that he pulled the trigger himself, Brenner suspects there is much more going on.
