Keek has been leading a comfortable life for some years on the money from a burglary which actually belongs to his mate Kalle, who is serving time in prison. When Kalle finds out that his wife Manuela is double-crossing him, he swears revenge and breaks out. From this point on, everything takes on an almost breathless pace: Kalle demands his share back from Keek, the haulage contractor Kampmann plans an insurance fraud, and Keek has to come up with an explanation fast.
