No Hit Wonder

Daniel, once a celebrated one-hit wonder, has hit rock bottom. After a failed suicide attempt, he finds himself in a psychiatric hospital, haunted by the song that once made him famous—and has since become his curse. There he meets Dr. Lissi Waldstett, a happiness researcher with little reputation and even fewer resources. Seeing an opportunity for her work, Lissi proposes an unusual deal: Daniel should help her use music to bring joy back to a group of lonely patients. Between mutual manipulation, eccentric fellow inmates, and the search for a last spark of meaning, Daniel and Lissi are drawn into a dynamic that will change them both.
