Der Liebling des Himmels
The Hamburg psychiatrist Magnus Sorel is in trouble. His patient Masha who had been a pain before, presses charges for "sexual assault" against him. In addition, a blackmailer threatens to publish his secret diaries. It does not change a thing that women are at his feet and that as an author he is breaking records with his bestseller "Failure Is An Opportunity". It is himself he cannot help. His gray and very respectable father wants to get his back and protect him from the ethics committee but can barely do so. With his teenage son, he is he is at odds and his terminally ill ex-wife cannot help him out of his mess either.
Moreover: Patient Masha is actually right with their allegations. At least Magnus is really taken with her in his emotional chaos. Then a strange television appearance at Günther Jauch follows, and getting to know who stole the diaries – because they lack proof of love – is also not very motivating. To this point, Dr. Sorel can hide his loathing of people in general just all too well. But more and more life puts him through the wringer. It is only through rediscovering his true feelings that Sorel can find joy in life again.
