The son of an Argentinian chemist travels to Vienna in order to investigate the murder of his father. There he finds out about his late father's entanglement in international espionage affairs, and becomes endangered himself. Eventually, however, it turns out that his father's murder is unrelated to his shady dealings with poison gas. In fact, the motive behind the crime can be traced back far in the past, to a trial in Nazi Germany…
