Biography

Nadja Bobyleva, born May 7, 1983, in Moscow, was sent by her parents to Moscow's arts and theatre college Klass-Center already at child's age from 1990 to 1992. In 1992, her family moved to Germany where Bobyleva attended actor's training as well as several acting seminars in Italy and Russia from 1999 on. From 2002 to 2006, she then studied acting at Cologne's Hochschule für Musik und Theater.

Nadja Bobyleva made her movie debut in 2001 in a supporting role in Vanessa Jopp's much noticed youth story "Engel & Joe". In the same year, Bobyleva also starred in two leading roles in the highly praised TV drama "Hand in Hand", and in Hermine Huntgeburth's comedy "Das verflixte 17. Jahr". Bobyleva received rave reviews for her performance of a highly gifted teenager in Vivian Naefe's "Raus ins Leben" ("Getting a Life", 2003) and also won the "Günther Strack Fernsehpreis". After key supporting roles in films such as "Verschwende deine Jugend" ("Play It Loud!", 2003) oder "Weißt was geil wär...?" (2007), Bobyleva again starred in a leading role in 2008 in the tragicomedy "Nichts geht mehr".
