Merlin Rose was born in 1993. His first screen appearances include the TV show "Ki.Ka-Krimi.de" and the made-for-TV comedy "Scheidung für Fortgeschrittene" (2010). In 2011, he got rave reviews for his portrayal of an alleged teenage murderer in Niki Stein's drama "Vater Mutter Mörder". The same year, he was seen as a regular cast member on the TV show "Die Stein". Following several more TV roles, including the part of a farmer's son in the drama "Frühlingskinder" (2013), Rose was cast as the male lead for director Marco Petry's teen comedy "Doktorspiele".
