Summary

First day at boarding school: Willi, nick-named "Dumpling" by everyone, is not very enthusiastic when he finds out he’ll have to share his room - because Tim is the exact opposite of himself: he comes from the suburbs, can attend the expensive boarding school only thanks to a scholarship and is a real sports canon. But then Dumpling's wealthy father is kidnapped, and Tim is the only one who believes that the police are following the wrong leads. With the support of the clever outsider Karl and Gaby, the daughter of police inspector Glockner, they start their own investigations. Soon, the four young hobby detectives are on the trail of a large-scale conspiracy.
