Das brennende Herz

Deutschland 1928/1929 Spielfilm

Summary

The Burning Heart

The young composer and inventor Georg Wittig has constructed a new ether wave instrument that forms sounds that cannot be produced by the human voice. While he is preparing for his first concert, he falls in love with the young singer Dorothee, who, in financial distress, is performing in a second-rate cabaret and therefore tells him she is a postal worker. When he discovers her lie, he wants nothing more to do with her. But on the evening of the big concert Dorothee appears, sings the solo and thus makes a success out of Wittig's work.
