Alexander Khuon, born March 10, 1979, in Freiburg im Breisgau, attended actor"s training at Leipzig"s Hochschule für Musik und Theater from 1999 to 2001. He made his first stage performances already during this time, for instance in 2001 at Studiobühne of Dresden"s Staatsschauspiel. After working at Cologne"s Schauspielhaus from 2003 to 2005, Khuon became a cast member at Deutsches Theater Berlin in 2005. Praised by the theatre press and feuilletons alike, Khuon stood out in productions of classic plays such as "Hamlet", "Who"s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" or "Don Karlos", but also in modern plays such as Neil LaBute"s "Adam" or Jon Fosse"s "Der zweite junge Mann" ("Sleep").

In 1996, Khuon made his first experience in the film business when he played a minor part in the TV series "Freunde fürs Leben". He then served as a unit manager for Dominik Graf"s and Michael Althen"s film essay "München – Geheimnisse einer Stadt" ("Munich – Secrets of a City"). In the following years, Khuon appeared only sporadically in front of the camera and did not make his debut on the big screen until 2008 in a leading role in "Die Entdeckung der Currywurst" ("The Invention of the Curried Sausage"). In 2009, he will be seen in Alain Gsponer"s comedy "Lila, Lila" alongside Daniel Brühl.
