Kya-Celina Barucki
Kya-Celina Barucki was born on April 7, 2004, in Berlin. She gained her first stage experience in school theater groups and, starting in 2016, performed with the youth ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. There, she appeared in productions such as "Lord of the Flies" (2016) and "The Greenhouse" (2020).
From 2019 onward, Barucki began appearing regularly in film and television productions. After a few smaller supporting roles, she landed a leading part in the series "Friedmanns Vier" (2021), playing one of three daughters of a widowed father. This was followed by guest appearances in the TV crime series "SOKO Leipzig" (2023), "Der Staatsanwalt" (2024), and "Morden im Norden" (2024).
Her first leading film role came in Sönke Wortmann's comedy "Der Spitzname" (2024), where she played the daughter of characters portrayed by Christoph Maria Herbst and Caroline Peters. In early 2025, she starred in "Leben ist jetzt – Die Real Life Guys," portraying the sister of real-life YouTube stars Johannes and Philipp Mickenbecker.
In 2024, Kya-Celina Barucki began studying acting at the Film University Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf." Alongside her studies, she has continued to take on film and television roles, including in the teen comedy "Mädchen Mädchen" (DE/AT, 2025) and Sönke Wortmann's "Die Ältern," set to be released in 2026.
