Die verlorene Tochter

Police Inspector Krause and his new boss, Detective Chief Inspector Olga Lenski, are tasked with solving two cases that soon prove to be connected: Little Michelle disappears from kindergarten - whereupon her mother Anne Diest attempts suicide. At the same time, the imprisoned Felix Diest, Anne's brother, does not return from his day off. Lenski and Krause soon find out that Diest is Michelle's biological father. Soon his former workplace, an astrophysical institute, also becomes the focus of the investigation: There, a former colleague of Diest's dies in a mysterious way and the institute's director, Professor Oppmann, apparently has a lot to hide.
