Eierdiebe

Charly and Sonny are small fish, "egg thieves". They hang around in Frankfurt pubs and try their hand at things that are several sizes too big for them. First they are recruited as heroin couriers and mess with a professional drug organization, then they fail miserably as art thieves. What remains is the realization that they are losers. – Milieu and character study from the Fassbinder crew (Fengler, Jürges), starring Marquard Bohm and, in one of his few films, Charly Wierczejewski.
