Biography

Lisa Tomaschewsky was born in Itzehoe on July 22 1988. Being raised in Glückstadt, she was discovered for a photo shoot at the age of 14 and subsequently embarked on a highly successful modelling career, appearing in several international fashion and lifestyle campaigns. In 2009, she was featured as a "Playmate" in the German edition of the Playboy magazine. Tomaschewsky had left school in order to pursue her career, but later received her diploma via a correspondence course.

Alongside her model career, she began taking acting lessons in Hamburg and Los Angeles, and in 2011, she made her TV debut when she guest-starred in several episodes of the series "Verbotene Liebe". In 2013, she had a supporting role in the "Tatort" episode "Laufsteg in den Tod", and also got her first starring role in a cinema release: In Marc Rothemund's "Heute bin ich blond", Tomaschewsky plays a young woman who is diagnosed with cancer and tries to live life to the fullest. Her performance in the film was well-received by critics.

During the following years, Tomaschewsky predominately worked on TV. She guest-starred on shows like "Soko Leipzig", "Dresden Mord" and the acclaimed miniseries "Deutschland 83".

After a supporting role in the theatrical release "Seitenwechsel" (2016), she was cast as the titular lead of the teen comedy "Verrückt nach Fixi" (2016). She went on to star in a two-part episode of the TV show "Letzte Spur Berlin" before being cast as one of the leads in the 2018 action comedy "Hot Dog".
