Biography
Janek Rieke was born in Hamburg in 1971 and studied Philosophy for two years before changing to the directing course at Hamburg"s Institute for Theater, Music Theatre and Film in 1994. He graduated in April 1996 with the film "Jenseits von Schweden". His other films include: "Hamburg-Vice" (video, 1988), "Die letzten Helden" (video, 1989/1990), "Anuschka 43" (video, 1991), "Burkhard trifft Tillmann" (video, 1991), "Die hirnlose Frau" (1994), "Conga Bop" (music video, 1994), "Neulich am Deich" (1995), and "Unhappy Without A Woman Too" ("Auch ohne Frau ungluecklich", 1996).
