Porkhead Al Dente
After "Winterkartoffelknödel" and "Dampfnudelblues", this is the third "Heimat" crime caper based on the novels by Rita Falk. This time, village cop Franz Eberhofer is faced with a case more mysterious than ever before: When his boss Moratschek finds a pig's head sitting on top of his bed, he is freaked out and ends up having Franz act as his personal bodyguard. He even forces Franz to hide him on the Eberhofer-farm. What's more, after an argument, Franz's girlfriend Susi has left for Italy. Although Franz's father and his grandma follow her in order to talk her out of it, it is really up to Franz to straighten things out. So, needless to say, this is only one more reason to solve the puzzle of the pig's head as fast as possible. They soon find the prime suspect in Dr. Küstner whom Moratschek had once brought behind bars. But is the case really that simple?
