Summary
The good-natured and cheerful newspaper archivist Gottlieb Sänger travels to the Black Forest to go hiking. On the train, he meets the bright schoolgirl Kiki. The 16-year old is on her way to a boarding school – but does not want to go there at all. Thus, she decides to accompany Gottlieb on his hiking trip. On their way, the odd couple meets two funny students and encounters several turbulent entanglements together with them.
