Hannah and Timotheus grow up in a strict evangelical family, living seemingly fulfilling lives within their free church community. Passionate about her faith, Hannah has taken a vow of chastity, but when she falls in love with her new classmate Max, things take a complicated turn. Meanwhile, when Timotheus realizes he is attracted to men, the siblings' emotions clash with the values and expectations of their family.
