Daniel Fripan was born in 1984. At the age of sixteen, he was discovered by director Esther Gronenborn who cast him in her youth drama "alaska.de (2000). He went on to appear in short films and guest-starred on several TV shows. Following a string of supporting roles in films like "Im nächsten Leben" (2008), "Krabat" (2008), "Der Turm" (2012) and Sebastian Schipper's "Victoria" ("My Name Is Victoria", 2015), Fripan had his first leading role in a feature film release with the award-winning "Der Bunker" (2015).
