Matthias and Anna have been separated for some time, the only reason they still have contact is because of their seven-year-old son Lukas. On Lukas' birthday the two want to organize an unforgettable party together, but already the last preparations are absolutely chaotic: Matthias is stressed due to an important deadline, the birthday cake is not ready in time, and then a heavy storm forces them to move the party into the living room.
