Fifth installment of the film series about police officer Franz Eberhofer from rural Bavaria. This time, Eberhofer is promoted against his will and has to move to Munich. Separated from his family and fiancé Susi, he is forced to move in with his eccentric friend Rudi. To make things worse, his new superior turns out to be his old rival Thin Lizzy. Eberhofer tries very hard to adapt to the new surroundings, but when a female corpse is discovered in the trunk of his father's car and Susi is courted by wealthy business owner Fleischmann, he immediately knows what to do: Eberhofer returns to Niederkaltenbach to set things right…
