Becks letzter Sommer
Beck's Last Summer
When he was young, Robert Beck was sure that he would become a star musician one day. Yet things turned out quite differently. He never got his breakthrough, and instead he had to settle for a life as a music teacher. But then he discovers 17-year-old Rauli, a real musical prodigy: Not only is the young Latvian a marvelous guitar player, he is also a gifted singer and composer. Robert decides to get Rauli a shot at stardom and to help him to a record deal. Alas, his girlfriend Lara just now declares that she wants to study in Rome, and his best friend Charlie needs his company on a trip to Istanbul. Acing on an impulse, Beck takes his new protégé Rauli along for an eventful drive to Turkey.
