Biography

Jascha Baum was born on February 5 1998. In 2006, he made his first screen appearance in a TV commercial. During the following year, he attended acting workshops and provided the German dubbing for the protagonist of the acclaimed documentary "Der Junge Mir" (2011, TV). Jascha Baum got his first major screen role in Kadir Sözen's "Von glücklichen Schafen" (2014), playing the conflicted son of a single mother who works as a prostitute. He next guest-starred in an episode of the TV series "In aller Freundschaft". He had an important role in Wolfgang Murnbergers "Kästner und der kleine Dienstag" (2016, TV), about the relationship between Erich Kästner and the child actor Hans Albrecht Löhr with Baum embodying Löhr in his teenage years.

Over the next few years, Jascha Baum was mainly making guest appearances in several TV series, including "Club der roten Bänder", "Heldt" and "SOKO Köln". In the family series "Das Wichtigste im Leben" (2019) he played a supporting role as the love interest of the daughter of the family the story is centred around. Also in 2019 Baum was part of the ensemble of the teenage comedy "Get Lucky - Sex verändert alles".
