Summary
A journalist is found dead in Munich. After a long interrogation with chief detective inspector Hanns von Meuffels, the unsuccessful musician Mischa Eigner confesses to having killed her from jealousy. The case could soon be forgotten if it weren’t for the murdered woman’s girlfriend who persuades Hanns von Meuffels to rethink his hasty investigative results. Apparently the musician has an alibi but doesn’t use it. So Hanns von Meuffels follows the traces of the dead journalist’s research.
