Summary

Documentary about one of the last projects of theatre and film artist Christoph Schlingensief, who passed away in 2010. Schlingensief, who was fascinated by the African continent, had the vision of constructing an opera village in Burkina Faso – a place where life and art are inseparably intertwined. Filmmaker Sibylle Dahrendorf followed the project from its inception on, starting with Schlingensief's search for the right location in May 2009 until the opening of the school in October 2011, more than one year after the death of the artist.
