Summary
After a bank robbery, the two bandits Sunshine and Kid are on the run through the Mexican Sierra until they finally arrive in a ghost town called "Deadlock". In the scorching heat of the desert, they start to relentlessly scramble for the loot. Roland Klick′s "Deadlock" – the title is the description for a door lock that can only be opened from one side – blends motives of Western films and gangster films to a psychedelic mix that is highlighted by the music of the German avant-garde rock band Can.
