Old Nip′s Wedding
Fairy tale movie, directed by Paul Wegener who also plays the leading role: Mountain spirit Rübezahl falls in love with an elf who herself has cast an eye on the private tutor in the nearby castle. To be close to the tutor, she shapeshifts into a governess and takes over her job at the castle. Rübezahl spirits away the forester, takes over his post, and wins the heart of his adored elf. As a couple, they return to the mountain region.
