Jonas Hämmerle was born in Ditzingen-Heimerdingen in 1998. In 2007 he took part in a casting and right away got the lead role in the TV production "Vater aus Liebe". The following year, he made his movie debut in "Das Morphus Geheimnis". Hämmerle then was cast as the titular hero in Michael Herbig"s box office hit "Wickie und die starken Männer" (2009), and also starred in the sequel "Wickie auf großer Fahrt", which was released in September 2011.
