Frank Amann wurde 1961 in Wiesbaden geboren. Von 1994 an Gaststudium an der National Film- and Television School (NFTS), London/Beaconsfield. 1998 folgte der Abschluß an der Deutschen Film- und Fernsehsehakademie, Berlin (dffb).
