The Door-to-Door Bookstore

Carl Kollhoff works reclusively in the back room of a bookstore, where he packs books and delivers them to loyal customers around the city. Books are his great passion, and he avoids human contact. During one of his deliveries, the curious nine-year-old Schascha joins him. Despite his initial resistance, Carl eventually lets her tag along, and she begins accompanying him on his routes. Schascha quickly wins the trust and hearts of Carl's customers, and gradually, she succeeds in bringing Carl out of his isolated world.
