Rheingold
Film adaptation of the autobiographical novel "Alles oder Nix" by German rapper and music producer Xatar. Born Giwar Hajabi in Iran in 1981, he fled with his Kurdish parents via Iraq to Germany in the mid-1980s. In Bonn, he grows up up in a social housing estate, dreaming of fame and fortune. As a teenager, Xatar initially slips into petty crime, but soon advances to become an influential major dealer. When a cocaine shipment goes missing, leaving him in debt to a drug cartel, Xatar plans a large-scale gold heist. However, this does not go as smoothly as hoped.
