The fairy Violetta is already 337 years old, but that's not old for fairies. She may seem rebellious, but her cheeky nature is more of a cover for her insecurities and lack of magical skills - because most of the time Violetta conjures the wrong things. This is a big problem because she is in the middle of her training to become a Tooth Fairy, which would require her to travel to the human world and conjure up small gifts for children. When Violetta fails the test, she is devastated, but she doesn't let this setback stop her. She sneaks into the human world, where she soon makes the acquaintance of 12-year-old Maxie. Together they have many adventures and finally Violetta finds her true destiny.
