Germany in the near future: The human tech company Menzana offers personality transfers into desired bodies. Despite moral scruples, the wealthy but old and sick couple Hermann and Anna agree to the experiment and find themselves in the two young bodies of Africans Apolain and Sarah. For 20 hours a day each, they can live in their desired bodies. However, Apolain and Sarah awaken at night for the remaining four hours and are horrified at their fate.
