Zoë Baier was born in 2014 in Augsburg, the daughter of professional footballer Daniel Baier. She discovered acting by chance at the age of eight and immediately took on a major role as the daughter of the main characters in Judith Angerbauer's relationship drama "Sabbatical," which premiered at the Munich Film Festival in 2024. She then joined the main ensemble of Mascha Schilinski's award-winning generational drama "In die Sonne schauen" ("Sound of Falling," 2025) and played a lead role in "22 Bahnen" (2025), about two sisters growing up in precarious circumstances with their alcohol-dependent mother.
