Biography

Roxane Duran was born in Paris on January 27 1993. She studied acting at the Cours de Théâtre Irène de Crozefon and the Cours Florent in Paris. She made her screen debut in Michael Haneke's acclaimed drama "Das weiße Band - Eine deutsche Kindergeschichte" ("The White Ribbon", 2009), playing the sexually abused daughter of a country doctor. She went on to play a pregnant student in the French production "17 Filles" ("17 Girls", 2011), a nun in "Le Moine" ("The Monk", ES/F 2011), the cousin of the protagonist in "Augustine" (F 2012) and the princess in the screen adaptation of Kleist's "Michael Kohlhaas" ("Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas", F/D 2013).

Duran next starred as a girl who is traumatized by an accident in the psychological drama "Sonnwende" (2013), directed by Judith Angerbauer and Bernhard Landen.
