Biography

Irina Usova was born in 1994 in Kharkiv, Ukraine and grew up in Nuremberg, Germany. From 2015 to 2018 she studied at the Acting School Charlottenburg in Berlin. During this time, she appeared in several productions at the bat Studiotheater and acted in music videos and short films.  

After graduating, Usova landed supporting roles in TV productions such as "Herr und Frau Bulle - Totentanz" (2019), "Wolfsland - Das dreckige Dutzend" (2021) and Timo Jacobs' docu-series "Benches of Berlin - Schönheit der Krise" (2021). In 2022 she appeared on stage at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in the play "Kindheitsarchive".  

In 2020/21, Irina Usova played her first leading role in the feature film "Das Recht der Stärkeren" ("The Right of the Strong"), where she played a right-wing radical who detonates a bomb in Berlin. The film was premiered at the Hof Film Festival in 2022 and came to cinemas in April 2023.
