Heiko Lochmann was born in Mainz on May 13, 1999. After his twin Roman had become well known through casting shows and appearances on TV, the brothers created their own YouTube channel called "Die Lochis". This is where they released their first songs and it soon started to become an internet phenomenon. The channel quickly made more than a million subscribers and several singles charted in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Early in 2015, the "Lochis" toured Germany and Switzerland for the first time. The same year, they starred in their first feature film which they also directed (in collaboration with Tomas Erhart): "Bruder vor Luder" has the brothers play themselves in a (fictitious) story in which they almost fall prey to a scheming groupie. "Bruder vor Luder" opened in German theaters in December 2015.
The two had smaller appearances in the graduation comedy "Abikalypse" and in "Kartoffelsalat 3 - Das Musical" (2019). The teenage comedy "Takeover - Voll vertauscht" ("Takeover - The Swap", 2020) was then again completely tailored to the brothers: the "Lochis" embody two identical looking teenagers who did not know each other before and now decide to swap roles.
