Juri Winkler was born in 2003. His screen debut in the short "Lilli" (2011), was followed by a leading role in the award-winning short "Ich bin nicht mutig" (2012) and a minor part in the feature film "Grossstadtklein" (2013). He then starred in the short "Die Unschuldigen" ("The Innocents"), which screened at 2014 Berlin IFF and in which he played a young boy who is confronted with the criminal deeds of his mother's new boyfriend. Juri Winkler next had a leading role in the award-winning children's film "Rico, Oskar und die Tieferschatten", which was released in summer 2014.
