Summary

In this anarchic comedy, Werner Enke reprises his role as the perpetually aimless Charly, last seen in "Hau drauf, Kleiner." After losing his money on a flea circus, Charly falls in with the shady scrap dealer Schwarzenbeck, who is waging a personal war against the tax authorities. Schwarzenbeck's schemes grow increasingly absurd: first he tries to fake his own suicide before Charly saves him, then the pair kidnaps tax inspector Schmäkel – only to discover that no one wants him back. Their final stunt is an audacious raid on the local tax office that descends into complete chaos. The one unexpected silver lining: the tax office computer goes haywire, and countless taxpayers receive refunds.
