DEFA′s adaptation of the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm: A young girl called Little Red Riding-Hood (after the red hooded cape she wears) lives with her parents on the brink of a large forest. The girl′s grandmother lives deep within the woods and is always looking forward to her granddaughter′s visits. The sweet-tempered girl - who is good friends with all animals - does not suspect that someone might seek her life but the evil wolf and his assistant, the sly fox, are out to get her. When Little Red Riding Hood is on her way to her grandmother one day, she falls into their trap. The wolf swallows the child and seems to have achieved his aim. Fortunately, the other animals send for help. In the end, the girl is released from the evil wolf′s stomach.
