Young Irene takes over the job as a receptionist in a luxurious Austrian hotel. She then finds out that her predecessor in the job has vanished under mysterious circumstances. But no one of her colleagues is willing to talk about what happened to her. By and by the atmosphere in the hotel that is surrounded by deep forests becomes more and more uncanny – especially after Irene discovers the legend of the "woman from the woods" who is allegedly haunting the surrounding forests.
