18-year-old Matti falls for 16-year-old Ina, who does not notice his feelings for her. During their dancing lessons, the two get closer. Against the will of their parents, they stay together and soon spend their first intimate night in a boathouse, which is a mixed experience for Ina. When their parents meet at the dance school ball, they overcome their previous concerns and instead start to make wedding plans. Yet Ina and Matti don't think about matrimony, because for them, the fist love isn't necessarily the love of a lifetime.
