Stephanie Capetanides was born in Greece. In 1997, she completed a course in mime and dance at the Opty Theater Makowsky, and subsequently studied drama at the Institut Censier Daubenton in Paris. In addition to this, she enrolled in acting classes at several private schools. Following  appearances in short films, she got her first leading role in Felix Stienz' offbeat comedy "Puppe, Icke und der Dicke" (2012).
