Ahasver, Part 1 - Ahasver

A three-part silent film series about the figure of Ahasver, who wanders restlessly through various cities - a symbol of the "Eternal Jew" who, according to legend, was guilty at the time of Jesus Christ.

In the first part of the series, Ahasver arrives at a castle whose tenants finally let him in because of a storm. He tells them his story and about the curse on him, which later prevents him from a happy marriage with the tenant's daughter.
